MSME RATNA AWARDS- 2025 

Background:

The Chamber of Indian Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (CIMSME) has been the strong voice of the MSME sector, assisting them to move to the next level and spearheading their issues and concerns with the authorities. Nevertheless, despite covering substantial areas, challenges still hound them.

The contribution of the MSMEs in the Indian GDP and creating employment is a well-known story. However, these contributions often go unrecognized. It is essential to celebrate and showcase the achievements of outstanding MSMEs to inspire others, foster innovation, and enhance the overall performance of the MSME sector.

This is where the inspiration came   from   to   institute MSME RATNA Awards by CIMSME to honor and acknowledge the exemplary achievements of MSMEs across India. This initiative aims to highlight the impact of the sector and motivate others to strive for excellence.

The Indian MSME sector has dramatically transformed the country’s economic landscape over the past few decades, and continues to expand across sectors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many MSMEs emerged as key players, with startups introducing innovative solutions and adapting quickly to the crisis. MSMEs played a pivotal role in maintaining the nation’s economic stability, with many standing as front-line warriors in the battle against the pandemic.

Against this backdrop, a format has been devised to appraise and evaluate the performance of MSMEs on specified parameters. Such information being collected will be the basis for the Expert Jury to assess and pronounce their judgment.

Concept: -

 The evaluation of the performance of the MSME will be based on the questionnaire and as per the audited Financial Results as on 31.03.2024.

Methodology of the Evaluation Process:

The following steps to be followed for the evaluation process:

1. Questionnaire/ Entries scrutiny with understanding and experience of evaluating the Financials of MSME;

2. On the basis of evaluation, short listing of MSMEs in each category (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises);

Discussions with the Top executive of MSME, if  required for any clarification;

1. Reporting of the shortlisted Institutions with full details and evaluation to the Jury;
2. Jury meeting to discuss on short-listed MSMEs.

Conference cum Awards Ceremony:

This will be a Gala Award Ceremony- the dates will be announced at an appropriate time.

Submission of Questionnaires:

1. The questionnaires can be filled out on the soft copy of the form and send it to [email protected] Answers should be legible and attachments clearly indicated

2. The printed forms in hard copy should be sent to CIMSME along with all additional required documents. The entire set of information may also be submitted through mail.

   Duly filled-in applications/Questionnaires along with the applicable processing charges may be submitted to the following address latest by 20.01.2025.
